The historic ambiance overlooking Deoksu Palace Gardens adds to its charm. However, some diners have noted that the service can be disorganized or standoffish, and the pace of the meal might be too fast for some.
"A gem! Warning: This is for advanced level Korean food fans. No entry level dishes. Diners new to Korean food won't understand this. But for those in the know, it's divine. My favorite is the 굴비, which has been dried in the icy February winds. Served with Boseong Green Tea and rice. Also get the 게장 soy marinated crab and the 육회 beef tartare with different aged soy sauces."
