What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Jamae Guksu is celebrated for its flavorful gogi-guksu, particularly the rich pork broth and tender pork slices, with service noted as exceptionally fast. While many find the food delicious and worth the wait, some reviews mention the soup being lukewarm and noodles being softer than preferred. The efficient service and use of the Catchtable app are frequently praised, making it a popular and convenient choice for a taste of Jeju.
"service here is incredibly fast and by fast I mean our two bowls of noodles probably came within three minutes after ordering. the broth of the pork noodles was incredibly flavourful, full of umami and super rich. my only gripe was that the soup was lukewarm and not hot enough, and the noodles were softer than how I would have preferred it to be. the bibim noodles however, were perfectly al dente, and I wished the pork noodles had the same bite.
nonetheless, great experience and I am already craving the yummy broth!!"

"Dun get the fuss with the long wait times! Just use the catchable app in advance. Book the queue from your hotel, and when you are in the store, you will get the prompt to enter and I was seated immediately even though the restaurant was packed.
Military efficiency and food was served immediately.
The noodles are plentiful and the pork was great but not life changing. The dumplings were tasty and filling.
All in all one of the bucket list items to eat in Jeju. Box ticked."

"Visited this restaurant in December. Driving there was easy and there’s ample parking spaces. The noodles tasted so well and I loved the broth. Restaurant is well organised and they serve promptly."
