Sotito's Restaurant is celebrated for its authentic Patagonian cuisine, particularly its renowned lamb and king crab dishes. Diners praise the quality of ingredients and generous portions, complemented by attentive service and a good wine selection. "Today, it is windy and cloudy. We, a group of 10 people, went to Sotito's for lunch. Service is fast and pleasant. They quickly set up a big table for us. My husband and I ordered the crab meat salad, squid in own ink, a bowl of fish soup to share, and 2 bottles of coke. The warm bread and butter first came to the table. It's simple but tasty. The outside is crispy, and the inside is soft. Without any hesitation, everyone ate 2 to 3 pieces of bread. The server was so thoughtful, and he had served us the soup in an individual bowl. The crab meat salad came in a small plate, the crab meat was big pieces, and it piled up the plate. The squid dish was also very tasty. It is good to dip with the bread. Communication is not easy but all the servers tried their best to help. No wonder this restaurant is highly recommended. Don't miss this gem of Punta Arenas."

"A great place for a good meal. Four + Stars!
This local restaurant is a favorite for locals and tourist alike. As mentioned, get the lamb cooked on a stick! Fabulous. We will be back…."

"We came here because of the amazing reviews. We had the centolla, double portioned and the lamb. Both were amazing. The breast that they make is greasy and serve warm, very good. I only had a problem with the sides. We got French fries. To me they should be crispy and they were soggy. When asked if the cold make it more crispy the waiter told me that I should get the other kind, the round and crispy ones. I heard crispy and went for it. He brought me chips, yes chips. I didn’t want chips with my lamb, they didn’t even had salt or any taste for that matter.
Then I saw the next table get the fries that I had sent back. I know they were mine because of the plate, I put them in a smaller plate and how they were put together, I did that.
It was not bad, I just would have liked French fries that were not soggy.
Place is most expensive than others around but food was good."

Patagonia: Two at the tip
Two of the best, both a bit of a splurge: Brocolino (try the lamb sweetbreads in champagne cream sauce, $7.60), steps from La Luna; and anything at Sotito’s Bar, down the street from Brocolino, which isn’t a bar but a fine restaurant whose seafood and lamb and king crab attracts a knowing Chilean clientele. Untried but recommended by people I trust: the Saturday-Sunday dinner buffet in the sixth-floor restaurant at the Hotel Finis Terrae; the parrilla at Los Ganaderos; and a Spanish restaurant overlooking the square, La Tasca.

Ubicado en la costanera, Sotito's Restaurant es otro de los favoritos de los comensales en Punta Arenas. Ofrece una propuesta gastronómica más refinada con énfasis en productos locales y frescos. On the last day we recommend you to have dinner at Sotito’s. It is a very traditional restaurant in Punta Arenas, somewhat expensive, but ideal for trying more seafood, and especially their conger a la margarita.
