Reviews Summary
Meta is a highly acclaimed two-Michelin-starred restaurant celebrated for its innovative fusion of Korean flavors with French techniques. Diners rave about the artful presentation and the exceptional quality of ingredients, particularly the seafood and Wagyu beef. While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, a few guests have noted that not every dish consistently hits exceptional heights, and some found certain desserts or aspects of service to be less inspiring.
"Meta, a two-Michelin-starred restaurant in Singapore, offers a dining experience that is nothing short of extraordinary. From the very first bite to the last, the meal is a testament to Chef Sun Kim’s masterful artistry and passion for gastronomy.
The highlight of Meta lies in Chef Kim’s unique ability to infuse authentic Korean flavors into a contemporary fine-dining setting. Every dish is thoughtfully crafted with simple, clean, and artistic plating that lets the ingredients shine. The balance of flavors is impeccable—each course feels like a perfectly orchestrated symphony on the palate. The use of premium seasonal ingredients, paired with innovative techniques, elevates the entire dining experience to new heights.
What truly sets Meta apart is the seamless blend of tradition and modernity, where Korean heritage meets global culinary influences. The attention to detail in every aspect, from the presentation to the service, ensures an immersive and memorable meal.
Without a doubt, this was one of the top three dining experiences of a lifetime. Meta’s charm, creativity, and soul have left an indelible impression. For anyone seeking a world-class culinary journey in Singapore, Meta is a destination not to be missed. It is a celebration of food at its finest."

"One of the best meals I’ve had in 2025! We had the set menu, along with the wine pairing. The wines were superb and complemented the dishes really well, it was also a pleasant experience having korean rice wine in the pairing.
The Jeju abalone dish in particular was one of my favorites, it has a very unique flavor profile and a good mix of textures between the tender abalone and the porridge.
Will definitely pay them a visit when the seasonal menu changes in fall and winter!"

"This should come as no surprise that a 5-star review follows - you don't get 2 Michelin Stars with anything less than excellence.
The venue itself is understated elegance, with subtle lighting and well-spaced seating arrangements. From the outset, personal service commences and it continues the entire sitting.
Each of the dishes we had were exquisite. It's a set menu as one might anticipate, but all were beautifully presented and explained, before being allowed to enjoy the flavours.
It is Korean x French, however more of a Korean flavour which we certainly enjoyed. The highlight must be the Wagyu which was the best dish I've ever tasted.
I don't need to recommend this place as Michelin will do it for me, but you can expect top shelf service and food.
The price will be unsurprising so it's a special occasion venue but I felt it was certainly worth it.
Well done META, the best place I have ever eaten."
