Reviews Summary

Humpback is highly praised for its incredibly fresh oysters, particularly during happy hour, and its warm, attentive service. While some find the prices slightly on the higher side, the quality of food and overall dining experience, including its chic ambiance and unique dishes, make it a worthwhile visit for seafood lovers.

"I usually went to the BAR on the second floor of this restaurant, but this was my first visit to the first floor.
The restaurant is very stylish. It was a very nice atmosphere.
The fish dish in the photo was very tasty. The texture was like meat! Please try it!"

Salon Rei beauty & spa

"The service was excellent 😍😍

Tuna with blood orange was quite mediocre - the orange was better than the tuna.
Broccolini and scallop pasta were OK. Oysters are very worth it - $3 a piece during happy hour (before 7pm) and all tasted sweet. The halibut was cooked well and very delicate. Chocolate tart was interesting and well balanced. it is quite a dense tart.

Overall slightly overpriced but I really really appreciated the service."

Colette Tan

"Visited around 530pm for the happy hour oysters.
Place was fairly empty at that time but filled up pretty quick.
Had the Pepper Martini and Old Fashioned and their drinks are strong. Personally, I felt like the old fashioned could have been more balanced if there was a bit more aroma of the orange.

Oysters were served relatively quickly, enjoyed the crab croquettes and the yellow fin tuna with cara cara orange, capers and lemon oil."

Seafood bar Humpback has breached the surface after a two-month long renovation. Compared to the previous iteration, the new Humpback is slicker and more diverse in its food and drinks offering. Led by chefs Alynna Tan and Joseph Teoh, oysters are still a mainstay, with three varieties ranging from crisp to briny and sweet, while snacks, small plates, and large plates are illuminated by deeply savoury house-cured hamachi pastrami, and a scintillating white asparagus with blue crab and white miso, and marble goby with roasted broccolini and juicy, sake-cooked mussels.
