Reviews Summary

Cicheti is widely praised for its authentic Neapolitan pizzas with perfectly charred crusts and a delightful chewy texture. Many also rave about the fresh, handmade pasta dishes and the outstanding tiramisu. While the ambiance is often described as charming and cozy, some diners note that service can be slow, and prices are on the higher side for pizza.

"The entire experience was so good!! Best pizza I’ve eaten that’s chewy in the middle and crispy on the outside with a nice smoky flavour. Sea bass was tender and sweet (it was cooked crusted in salt I think). Stew was good, seafood was really fresh. Cannoli was the bomb!! The crisp, pistachio cream, and little pistachio nuts tied the dessert together. Overate a little but it was well worth it."

Yu

"Really delicious food, lovely and cozy ambience. Only point of improvement is that the food came out quite slow, and a couple dishes took much longer (I think it was a very packed dinner). Service was friendly though, and overall it was still a very enjoyable dinner."

R Angdias

"The pizza bread and pizza were outstanding. Had a vongole which had big clams. the cooking is very heavy on sauces so our pasta and mains were very filled in sauces. It is interesting but not a normal light Italian cuisine.

Service can be slow as it is highly popular but suddenly all the food will appear after waiting 20 minutes."

In true Italian fashion – although we'd argue that Cicheti's food refuses to be pigeonholed and instead offers a mix of Mediterranean and Singaporean flavours as well – the menu is split into sections of antipasti, primi, second, pizza and dolci. Cicheti's beloved Neapolitan-style pizzas ($18-$28) are undoubtedly a highlight on the menu, all nicely charred in its wood-fired oven imported from Italy, of course. TRY Popular options include carbonara ($25), Bismark ($26), and more.

The Best Restaurants In Singapore For 2025

Cicheti (pronounced chee-keh-tee) are the signature small plates native to Venetian bàcaris, or wine bars, that meld traditional Italian heritage with distinct Mediterranean influences—which is exactly what you can expect from this Italian restaurant in Singapore. Occupying a two-storey shophouse in Singapore’s Arab quarter, Cicheti is known for its authentic, wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas. Our favourites include diavola (crushed peeled tomatoes, salami, fior di latte, grana padano, crushed chilli flakes and extra virgin olive oil) and prosciutto e rucola (fior di latte, prosciutto di parma, arugula, shaved parmigiano and extra virgin olive oil).

While the latest crop of artisanal pizza places emerging in Singapore continue to herald the humble pie’s resurgence, there is one restaurant on our island that has long enjoyed a reputation as one of the best pizzerias around. Seated in the heart of Kampong Glam, Cicheti has been serving up quality wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas for nearly a decade now. Of course, the restaurant is now joined by sister-ventures Bar Cicheti, Wild Child Pizzette (also on our list) and Forma, but the original’s prowess is proven through its recent placement on Asia-Pacific’s Top 50 Pizzas list for 2022.
