What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Carlitos Casa de Comidas is lauded for its authentic Spanish cuisine, cozy atmosphere, and friendly service. Diners rave about the well-executed tapas and flavorful dishes like paella and grilled squid. However, some find the portions to be small relative to the price, making it a spot for a special treat rather than a frequent casual meal.
"I had a wonderful date night tonight for sure with tasty food! We managed to get 2 seats at the bar table, it was my first time there and somehow the food we ordered tasted great!
Atlantic prawns with sourdough was our fave dish!
Codfish fritters was special and tasty, but we tasted the potato or mashed more the fish.
Grilled squid was also our favourite dish!
Paella Of The Day, with pork ribs was extremely tasty! The rice was burnt and charred, was really good.
Angus beef sandwich is worth trying too!
Would definitely recommend this place to my friends!
Sardinitas was unexpectedly good! Its tinned food but there's no fishy smell at all!"

"I had a lovely meal at Carlitos Casa de Comidas and can definitely see why it’s a hidden gem! The atmosphere is warm and cozy, with a casual charm that makes you feel right at home. I ordered the croquettes, a couple of the recommended tapas and the paella of the day, and both were absolutely delicious.
The croquettes were perfectly crisp on the outside and creamy inside, with rich flavors that felt comforting yet refined. They arrived fresh and piping hot — I could’ve eaten a whole plate myself! The paella was the highlight — beautifully cooked rice with a depth of flavor that shows real care and authenticity. Every bite had a good mix of textures and ingredients, and the portion size was just right.
Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the staff were more than happy to explain the daily specials. I also appreciated how the kitchen takes pride in using quality ingredients.
Overall, a truly satisfying dining experience that left me wanting to return and try more from their menu. Whether you’re a fan of Spanish cuisine or just looking for a hearty, soulful meal, Carlitos is worth a visit. Highly recommended!"

"Who knew the finest steak in Singapore would come from a Spanish kitchen? Every bite was extraordinary—perfectly cooked, richly flavored, and unforgettable. The private room made the experience even more special, and the service was impeccable. The manager’s warm attention ensured we felt completely at ease throughout the evening.
Pairing it with the ice-cold cava elevated the meal to sheer perfection. Truly a dining experience to remember!"
