Diners rave about Bela Reka for its elevated traditional Serbian cuisine, featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients and beautiful presentation. The rustic yet modern ambiance and exceptional service, particularly from staff like Peter, are frequently praised. However, some reviews mention slow service at times, and the allowance of smoking indoors may be a consideration for some.
"If you’re looking for authentic Serbian food that the locals frequent, this is the place to try. The only downside of this place is that allow for smoking while dining. With that said, the food was delicious and those service was great. We had the fish tasting menu. You can have this paired with wine or not. Super tasty and just the right portion. Street parking available but easiest to either take a taxi or jump on the bus (use google for which bus and when to take). We made a reservation but it didn’t look like anyone who came in had to wait. Waiters speak English but all patrons were local Serbians."

"A very nice restaurant in Novi Belgrade, with a rustic old school atmosphere combined with modern notes. The interior design is lovely and cosy. The food absolutely delicious, having elevated traditional Serbian dishes made with all local ingredients. They also have their own brand of smoked cured meat and cheese. Would highly recommend the gnocchi with steak and spinach and steak with homemade noodles and truffle sauce. Mouthwatering! They lost a star because the service was slow, without it being busy at the time. We had to ask 2 times to order, 3 times for our drinks and 3 times for some parmesan cheese which they ended up charging us for."

"I had a fantastic experience here! The food is rooted in traditional Serbian cuisine but elevated with a chef’s creative touch and top-quality ingredients. Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The availability of parking is a big plus, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic yet refined Serbian dining experience."
