When we got there, the music was pumping, and somehow we just managed to snag a table at the busiest time. Our waiter was incredibly knowledgeable and helped us find a great wine (local of course) and after a nice friendly chat, we got our burgers ordered: one Camembert and chili jam, and one cheeseburger. We grabbed the hummus to start as well.
Hummus was delicious and came with olives. Nice and fresh! But when the burger arrived, I knew I’d landed on something special. Flavour-wise, the Camembert and chili jam burger was outstanding! Really deep flavours, perfectly cooked patty, and the jam really tied it together.
My only gripe would be maybe the patty could be a bit bigger, or at least just distributed a bit better in the bun. Half way through the burger I ran out of meat! Maybe I don’t know how to eat a burger… honestly the flavour was so good I was happy anyway.
My partner had the cheeseburger, which was a classic burger. Maybe a bit dry, she said. We also followed up with some fries that were nice big wedges and we both enjoyed them a lot!
Wine was fantastic, and the recommendations were spot on.
So the ambience was a wild mix. I think this was more of a bar than a restaurant, and when you realise that’s what it’s going for, it starts to make sense.
Overall an interesting time, punctuated by good burgers and delicious wine.
Also, please replace the locks on the bathroom stalls!"

"We've had an amazing wine tasting here! Robert was super knowledgeable about the different wines and explained everything about the grapes, different regions and traditional wine making proces in great detail! We also had the tasting platter with the best crostini I've ever had. For starters we shared the shrimp, home made hummus and fried camembert. The main dishes were cooked perfectly and the wine paring for these dishes was also great!
We had an amazing night with a Robert as a very skilled sommelier!"
