Reviews Summary

Maria's offers a vibrant atmosphere with stunning beach views and generally good service, particularly from the bar staff. While many praise dishes like the Prawns Guilla and clams, some find the food overpriced for the quality, with inconsistent seasoning and flavor across various dishes. The lively vibe and sunset views are definite draws, but culinary consistency can be a concern for some diners.

"It's a really fabulous, mainly sea restaurant.
The Prawns Guilla, garlic chilli, and coriander are the best prawns I can ever remember eating.
The clams in garlic were great too, so said my wife.
She also loved her beef salad.
The Turbot was cooked to perfection also.
You need to rebook a table because it was rammed.
Great service, too.
Bill was €320 for four people, started, main and bottle of wine."

"Just another overpriced beach restaurant. The staff is very friendly and efficient. We tried several tapas.
The grilled squid didn't had any flavour or sauce. The tempura shrimps were like any other. The salmon poke bowl was good with fresh flavours. The ceviche was ok. The chicken salad wasn't that good. The grilled cheese with honey was ok. Overall the food was just ok."

Sónia Rodrigues

"Amazing restaurant, was recommended by a good friend who'd visited last year and it more than lives up to every expectation.

Food was delicious and not expensive,, customer service was outstanding.

The place is in such a lovely area on the beach and the music and atmosphere is great.
Thoroughly recommend ❤️"

POSTCARDS FROM PORTUGAL, PART 2 Sublime Beach Clubs, Algarve, & a Day in Spain

I have to admit that 3 Marias wasn’t my favorite Portuguese restaurant. Maybe because I didn’t really understand the red wine risotto with foie gras, mushrooms, and crispy leeks, which Faith wound up eating although I had ordered it. The desserts at 3 Marias were phenomenal, however.
