"Lovely restaurant. We called without a reservation and the staff were more than helpful and got us a table. Due to the inclement weather we soon needed to move inside. Again, no problem and we were seated at a lovely table. The food and service we received throughout was excellent. Highly recommend the goat stew. It was amazing. Prices are very fair too 👍"

"Overall a great experience, with good quality authentic food and great service for an acceptable price.
We visited 3 times. This is one of the few restaurants in the area, that offers authentic Portuguese dishes.
The service was very good, our waitress gave great recommendations regarding our order. For instance we wanted to order 3 starters to share as 4 and she said it would be too much together with the mains. Also the portion sizes of the main dishes were very big. I'd recommend to come here if you are very hungry. For the little hunger you might fight with the size of the main dishes.
The espetadas of meat were excellent. On one day they also had a mixed fish platter with fresh fish of the day which was very good. Lastly the scallops risotto was a dream.
Inside the restaurant is very beautiful, the terrace is a great option to sit outside."

"Had a great tasting grilled fish of the day. The fish was fresh and properly seasoned. All the side dished where good. Also sweet potato on the side was perfect. No bad words about this restaurant. Price of food is the mid range of a busy tourist place. Do try their garlic bread its one of the best ones iv tried in Madeira"
