"Nice little restaurant in the alley. Friendly waitress and great food. We tried the toast, salad and Cod dished. We came back twice. Really good."

"I was visiting Coimbra for only a few hours and found this gem of a restaurant by accident. I got the Vegetais a Bras and freshly made chips and soup. It was a vegetarian dish and amazing combination of rice, greens, chickpeas, avocado, apple, orange and olives! Ask for the hot sauce too. Very fresh tasting, hearty and filling! Seems to have been made with love, it tasted so good!!"

"This place feels like a warm hug.
Food is really good, we tried the francesinha and the lobinho with egg. Both were delicious.
They have traditional Coimbra beer which was also good and a dessert called bolo de bolacha which was spectacular!
Our favorite part was the warm and kind interactions with the personnel.
Be patient, the place is small and cozy, so you might have to wait, but it will be totally worth it!"

Restaurants in Coimbra
Everything from set three-course lunches to delicious cakes and pastries are prepared with love and served with a smile at this welcoming restaurant in the heart of Coimbra's historic center. There are plenty of tables in the cozy interior, but the tables and chairs set out on the flagstones outside are the best bet in the summer months. Prices are extremely reasonable given the prime location.
