What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Lepione is praised for its extensive variety of fresh and tasty Polish dishes, including a wide selection of pierogi, making it a great spot for both locals and tourists. The pay-by-weight system and affordable pricing, especially with student discounts and late-hour deals, are highly appreciated. Some minor critiques include occasional temperature inconsistencies in hot dishes and slightly different flavor profiles for certain items like mango lassi.
"You can select foods what you want from local dishes to the vegetarian menus like canteen style. From 17:00, they apply for the discount. For students, they always apply for 20% discount. The location is also the best place to eat in front of the church. Highly recommend it."

"A cosy cafeteria with an extensive spread. It is located in the Wroclaw Uni compound. It’s clean. I had mango lassi, which tasted a bit different from what I usually have. It was nice, it turned out that coconut milk and cardamom were added to the lassi. The panna cotta was good. Total was PLN 17.25"

"Lepione, on Krupnicza Street in Wrocław, has been here for a good few years now. It’s a self-service buffet with a wide choice of food. Of course there are pierogi, pyzy and other dumplings, but also chicken fillets, salmon, potato pancakes, pork schnitzels, plenty of salads, compotes and more.
The food was tasty and the prices were fair — we paid about 210 PLN for 5 people. The only small downside was that the mushroom soup wasn’t really hot.
We first thought about going to Bar Mleczny Miś, which is another well-known place nearby, but the queue was too long, so we came here instead. In the end it was a good choice — friendly service, good variety, good value and a nice spot for a casual meal in the city centre."

A Guide to The Best Restaurants in Wroclaw
Lepione came to our rescue when we were hungover and craving a mighty, savoury, random breakfast. It’s a pay-by-weight, canteen style of restaurant where you load up your (very large) plate with whatever food you want, including so many different kinds of dumplings, and then pay at the till. The hangover resulted in us going a little overboard, especially considering that this was breakfast for us, but it was still super cheap and the food tasted great!
