What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Diners rave about the exceptional quality and variety of pierogi, with many calling them the best in Gdansk. The cozy, rustic atmosphere and friendly service, particularly from noted staff members, enhance the dining experience. While most reviews are glowing, a few mention occasional long waits and, in rare instances, instances of perceived rudeness from staff.
"It was absolutely amazing! The food tasted great! Especially, I want to recommend the tomato & pepper soup with lots of fresh vegetables and meatballs. It was among the best I’ve ever eaten. Our waitress was Oliwia and she is simply the best. She speaks fluent English and we were allowed, as a group of 14, to choose each our 6-dumpling special with six different flavours we were able to individually choose. She did not mess up one single order and she happily came along regularly to make sure we were satisfied at all times. Two of my colleagues also chose dessert and they both described it as a taste explosion because it was so amazing.
I can strongly recommend this restaurant for groups and also anyone who wants to experience wonderful food."

"We had a wait of about 5 min at the door. We were seated and waited 10 minutes for menus, a further 20 minutes for our order to be taken, and by the time we got our starters, an hour had passed. Our waiter explained that they were unexpectedly busy, and he did his best to ensure we didn't have too long a wait between starters and mains, which I would say was the usual waiting time between courses. The starters tasted good. We had beetroot cream soup and herring. The fillings of our pierogis were tasty. Our waiter, Artur P. was attentive once our orders had been taken. This place was recommended to us by a local, and we enjoyed ourselves."

"Absolutely fantastic experience! The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and full of rustic charm – the perfect place to relax and enjoy a traditional meal. The pierogi are exceptional, especially the oven-baked pierogi (piecuchy), which add a delightful twist to the classic dish. A true highlight was the sweet pistachio piecuchy with white chocolate sauce – rich, indulgent, and simply unforgettable.
Special thanks to Magda and Weronika R., who made our visit even more enjoyable with their kindness, professionalism, and bright smiles. The service was outstanding from start to finish. A must-visit spot in Gdańsk!"
