Mama's Fish House is widely praised for its exceptional seafood, stunning ocean views, and outstanding hospitality, creating a truly memorable dining experience. While some reviews mention long waiting times, the freshness of the ingredients, delightful presentation, and the overall ambiance make it a must-visit destination for many.
"After taking 3 planes, 2 buses, and a boat to get to Boracay, we stumbled upon this gem. The food here is AMAZING! Not only is the food fantastic (and the drinks...), but the hospitality as well--this was the experience I thought of when it came to Filipino hospitality. This is a must go to spot. We also meet the owner, Mama, herself. She definitely made the experience a great one for me and my husband."

"First of all, this restaurant is inside the hotel Microtel by Wyndham which locates in a hidden gem, 2kms from Station 1 center.
The most disappointing thing of this restaurant is just the waiting time was so long, 45 mins. Just come if you have plenty of time to wait. Beside that everything else is wonderful: the set up, the view, the location next to the beach makes you feel private, the friendly staffs. The fishes and salads were nice, although the salad was a bit sweet to my taste but still delicious. The dinner tonight we just ordered fishes and we were pretty happy at our choice. When we ordered the dessert, finally i had to cancel as it was too slow to serve (15-20mins when i thought it should be quick like 5 mins as it was ice-cream). I don’t know if they really paid attention to what the guests expect? We actually ordered the fishes before the next table but our fishes’ dishes came later than them and of-course, i was not happy about that. I had Happy Hour offer for Singapore Sling cocktail (buy 1 get 1) and it was a bit terrible as i don’t think its authentic and it was bitter. So i just recommend foods if you come here for eating. The next table has a child cry, so its not all quiet and romantic as it looks. So im happy to give it 4/5 and i think that’s generous. The bill was 2200 peso foe 2 fishes, 1 salad, cocktail and 1 extra rice. I think it’s affordable for 3 people."

"We discovered this awesome place the day we arrived in Boracay. We have been there everyday for the last 5 days. Food is simply DELICIOUS, service is AMAZING , Hospitality is ABOVE & BEYOND .. Mely and Alie makes you feel like you have been friends with them for the last 10 years. So welcoming. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you eat. now the best part of this place is the Sunsets you will see while eating your delicious food . It is a must !!"
