Reviews Summary

Kape ni Manang is praised for its incredibly delicious and authentic Filipino dishes with generous portions. Diners also rave about the exceptionally kind and welcoming owners, creating a homey and unique atmosphere. While some mention it's a bit out of the way, the experience and food are consistently described as worth the journey.

"Kape Ni Manang is one of the best restaurant we ve found in the Philippines and our favorite restaurant around
El Nido !

Not only the dishes are extremely good and tasty, but the couple who own the place is incredibly kind : not only towards their customers (you'll feel like you're with long time friends) but they rescued many dogs and cats which they have adopted and also keep feeding a lot of famished animals.
They have a big heart, and we love them also for that !

They also have a small part of the place designed as a small shop where you'll find some nice artistic creations ☺️

Try them once to discover real tasty Filipino cuisine, and become addicted like us !"

"First this place is far from many other place but I would go to it in a heartbeat. First, because I'm a sucker for Inasal Chicken and they cooked theirs with the right amount of char while maintaining the juicyness of the chicken. Second, the people are good souls that make you feel like you're visiting a distant relative. Finally, the vibe of the place with their tokens and mementos gave it a unique vibe.

You might have to contract a tricycle to take you there, wait for you, then take yoy back but for me it's worth it. It's a story of its own."

""Best Filipino food I've ever eaten dad." And that's coming from a Pinoy born and raised in the PH!!!

He's not lying though. My gad, food was soooo good. And the rice!!! Like a meal in itself! So tasty and yummy!! Everything was really so good. Everything!! "Maybe they have a magic pan dad." Maybe nga.

Vibe was super awesome. Exactly what one would look for in a beach town - a bit out of the way, by the main road, owner-operated with very local island eclectic vibes but very clean and comfy. And unique!!

Whatta place."

7 New Places to Eat & Drink in El Nido, Palawan

Located 6 km north of the town proper, Kape ni Manang makes for a ideal stopover on tours around mainland El Nido. Driving a rental scooter, I stopped by this rustic roadside cafe at their new location for breakfast en route to my hike to Nagkalit-kalit Falls, ordering one of their silog meals: pork tocino with garlic rice and egg (₱200). Aside from their all-day breakfast offerings like omelets and toast, they also serve Filipino favorites like chicken Inasal (₱220), lechon kawali (₱320), and stuffed squid (₱320), to name a few.
