Reviews Summary

The Farmer's Daughter Restaurant is celebrated for its authentic Cordilleran cuisine, particularly its flavorful smoked meats and fresh vegetable dishes. While many praise the delicious food and rustic ambiance, some reviewers note that the restaurant can be quite busy, leading to long waits during peak hours. Service can feel rushed at times, but the overall value and taste make it a worthwhile experience for many.

"I wished I ordered more because of all the food places I went to in Baguio, this was by far the best for me. We got the smoked pork rice meal and an ube cake. The way I savored the meat because I just don't want to stop eating it. It's that delicious!! The vegetables was so fresh and the beef broth, ugh, it was the perfect meal!! I can't get enough of it.
This will really be a must visit for me everytime I'll get the chance to come back to Baguio. 😁♥️"

Goldee Mabulay

"Farmers Daughter in Tam-awan has a lot more guests than the one in Badiwan. The food here is okay, more like comfort food. The servings are good and affordable. The ambience feels like you’re in the province, and you need to have dinner early before the sun goes down, but I prefer the one in Badiwan. I think the food tastes better there."

Jean Arquinez

"The staff were friendly, the food was a bit on the salty side, and the prices were quite reasonable. There were many diners, so it’s best to go early to avoid waiting. Don’t forget to try the chicken soup prepared in the traditional local style."

A visit to Tam-Awan Village isn’t complete without a meal at Farmer’s Daughter Restaurant (Longlong Road). Enter the quaint thatched hut in heritage style to enjoy rustic wood and bamboo décor with hearty Cordilleran cuisine: it’s admittedly a meaty affair, with typical dishes such as pinikpikan (Ingorot style chicken with salted meat) or dinakdakan (grilled pork ear, snout and tongue), but there are plenty of vegetarian (gulay) options, such as pak-pako, a simple salad with local fern leaves.
