I thought we had a good mix, from the newly opened Hill Station to old time favorites like Cafe by the Ruins and Forest House, I had every meal covered even for our afternoon merienda!. What I didn't include and actually failed to give more attention to was this restaurant that has been famous for their Mongolian Buffet for years!. It was only when friends started leaving comments over at my Facebook page urging me and the group to give O' Mai Khan a try.

My best friend wanted to bring us to this place called Hill Station. "Their ice cream is heavenly. It's a Francesca Lia Block place," she told us, referring to one of our favorite authors who writes about food as if you could taste it off of the page. Our calves were aching from the previous night's high heels and the morning's adventure in the three-floor rickety Bayanihan building, but the prospect of homemade ice cream was more than enough motivation.

Stopped by Hill Station Cafe (located by SM, next to Mt. Cloud Bookstore and North Haven Spa) for some tea. They had a small but nice selection of loose teas. We ordered Oolong and Jasmine.
