Reviews Summary

Inka's Tower offers stunning 360-degree views of Ollantaytambo, making it a popular spot for its scenery and affordable prices. While many appreciate the value and colorful ambiance, several reviews mention significant issues with service, with some diners experiencing rudeness or long delays, and others finding the food quality inconsistent or disappointing.

"Great place held by only one woman who does everything for you, from cooking delicious meals to service to cash out with great prices. View is 360 around the city .100% recommend, went there twice."

"Disappointing experience – not recommended despite the view

We chose Inka’s Tower Restaurant in Ollantaytambo because of its beautiful location—right in front of the Ollantaytambo ruins. The view is definitely lovely, but unfortunately, the food and service did not match the setting.

My husband ordered the quinoa chaufa with alpaca, which was okay. I ordered trout, but it was not fresh at all. The salad served with it was even worse. The first plate had avocado that was completely black, so I asked for a replacement. They brought a new dish, but the avocado was still bad, the cucumber had dark spots, the lettuce was wilted, and the tomato tasted so rotten I had to spit it out.

Service also fell short. The waitress seemed disinterested and not at all welcoming—you could tell she didn’t enjoy her job, which sadly reflected in the overall experience.

We recommend skipping the food here altogether. If you want to enjoy the view of the ruins, maybe just stop for a soda—but for your stomach’s sake, eat somewhere else."

"Adorable spot with a really unique view!

We got some drinks here and they were delicious. Fair price for the area. Only call out is that it has very steep stairs so not the best for anyone with disabilities. Would absolutely be back before I leave Ollantaytambo."
