Reviews Summary

Bula Neobistro offers a unique and artistic dining experience with innovative, surprise multi-course menus and exceptional service that makes guests feel special. While many praise the creativity and overall experience, some find certain dishes too sour or overwhelming, and the non-alcoholic drink pairings can be overly sweet or acidic for some palates. The eclectic atmosphere and attentive staff are consistent highlights.

"They made for us one of the best vegan meals we've ever had (10 courses too!) despite not being a vegan restaurant. Best restaurant in Trondheim in my opinion. Only thing I would say is the non-alcoholic pairing with 10 courses is a lot of sugar from all the juice -- more than we could handle in one sitting, and the jelly shot at the end was too acidic. But that's nitpicking a pretty perfect meal otherwise :)"

Christian Prosko

"Chef Renee is well known in the Trondheim culinary scene as a visionary who’s not afraid to experiment with new ideas.

I had the 5-course menu, which came with a few delightful extras by default: fresh bread, a pre-appetizer, and an after-dessert. The menu featured both meat and fish dishes, paired with vegetables. The flavors were unique and clearly crafted with skill—definitely not something you could easily recreate at home. I especially enjoyed the main courses with fish and meat.

That said, 3 out of the 5 dishes were a bit too sour for my taste. I’m not sure if that was intentional or a one-off, which is why I’m not giving a perfect rating for the food.

Service was great—friendly and attentive staff who introduced each dish and were happy to answer questions.

Overall, I’d recommend a visit and would consider coming back to try the 10-course menu. The menu changes often."

Andrii

"Overall good taste food, the chef knows what they are making.
However, they may slap you with additional offerings which might turnout too expensive on the bill, you think it is part of the meal but nope it was additional cost."
