Both places are popular with locals and while Huken offers a cosy living room atmosphere and the best pancakes in town, Burgr has a fantastically retro interior inspired by old video games. It also happens to serve the best burgers in Tromsø.

If you can afford to pay for meals then I’d recommend Cafe Sann for drinks, Burgr for burgers and Risø for coffee and pastries. I can also recommend the little pancakes and syrup from BK (all day baby!) and the Snickers shake from Mix, a chain convenience store. Probably the greatest £6 I spent in Norway.

I didn’t see any recommendations for this place online, however it is a few buildings down from BURGR (a video game themed burger place that I also recommend going to). Thankfully my sister and I ended up going into this coffee place and we were happily surprised!

It can be hard to find a good deal in Tromso… but Burgr is a very noteworthy exception, especially at lunch time!. I forget the exact price, but I had a meal with burger and fries for about 140 NOK / ~$15 USD. Not bad for notoriously expensive Norway!

Burgr is a super small hamburger, kind of themed with video games!. There’s even an old Nintendo for customers to play Mario and I don’t even need to mention that Guilherme loved it!. We tried the traditional burger and vegan falafel.
