Reviews Summary

Restaurant Kontrast offers an unforgettable Michelin-starred dining experience with exceptional food and attentive service. Guests rave about the creative and delicious tasting menus featuring fresh, local ingredients. While the price point is high, most find the culinary artistry and overall experience to be well worth the splurge. Minor complaints sometimes mention the wine pairing's value or the interior temperature.

"Out of all the michelins, this one takes the cake. Even with one vegetarian menu, we've never had such attentive service and varied dishes. Divine flavours and just an overall calm vibe of the place. They are experts in their art."

"While pricey, one of the best meals I’ve had. Great dining and culinary experience with local Norwegian ingredients made with care and expertise. At one point, i was more impressed by the creativity of how many steps it took to prepare one part of one dish!

The dinner took quite a bit of time, but did not seemed slow or rushed. The service was excellent - not pretentious - my questions were answered genuinely.

Too many delicious courses to name favorites, or remember how they were prepared. If you have the chance, and the funds, a must go! (With a wine pairing!)"

Jason Eng

"I visited Kontrast on my 29th birthday with my girlfriend. The moment you walk into this restaurant, you immediately feel like someone special. The staff gives you their full attention. As soon as they see you’ve finished, they appear at your table right away and suggest the next courses. They really know their craft. They can answer any question and are happy to chat about anything. The dishes were exquisite. You absolutely must order the drinks paired with each dish — it really elevates the whole experience. The chefs work with incredible focus. It’s definitely worth going there, as it’s something completely different from an ordinary night out at a restaurant.
I will come back."
