Restaurant To Kokker offers mane courses like Steamed Halibut, Fillet of Red Deer, Leg of Lamb, Ovenbaked fillet of Cod and Fried breast of Duck,s, served with raspberry sauce.

To Kokker is owned by the same group as Enhjørningen, so the menus are a little similar. The big difference is that To Kokker (the two chefs in English) is a set menu, whereas Enhjørningen is a la carte. Items on the menu include kveite, deer steak, and whale.

Restaurant To Kokker (Two Cooks) is also tucked away in one of Bryggen’s old houses and can be reached by strolling down a back alley and up a flight of stairs. The amazing food served in this top-notch restaurant is worth the detour.

Finally, I allowed myself one splurge — a four-course dinner with wine pairings at To Kokker, a restaurant literally inside the Bryggen. The place feels like a time capsule, with low ceilings and slanted wooden floors.
