"We only tried breakfast so this review can’t count for other meal times, but breakfast was great! We got a deal on Book Me which made breakfast 40% off, but it would have been worth it at full price too. "Had a lovely dinner and breakfast here while staying at the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. Dinner was really nice with wonderful flavors and everything was very fresh. I had a pumpkin vegetarian dish that tasted great! The continental breakfast was lovely as well with fruit, bread, pastries, cereals and juices and coffee and tea - just right for our check out morning. Overall very nice. I’d visit again."

"We had the degustation with wine matching and couldn't have been more disappointed. The food was all average at best other than the mushroom croquette which was the only item with any real flavour. The wine matching seemed to get smaller and smaller with each course until there was barely a taste of Pinot with the main course. The service was poor never clearing any glasses or plates until the next course came out, and as soon as the last course was put on the table they told us the bar and kitchen was now closed at 8:45pm. I would not go back or suggest anyone does until The Regent decides they actually want to try and provide an experience to be proud of."

These days, there are so many options for fine dining in Rotorua, and yes, the Cobb & Co is still being enjoyed by families. If there was one addition I could make however, (and in my humble opinion), it would be a dedicated Rotorua seafood restaurant.
