What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Fergburger is a highly acclaimed Queenstown institution, celebrated for its incredibly juicy, flavor-packed burgers with generous portions at reasonable prices. While the lines can be long, most diners agree the wait is well worth it for the quality and taste. Beyond the burgers, the fries and shakes are also highly praised, making it a must-visit culinary experience.
"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Fergburger is next-level good! The moment I took my first bite, I was blown away — juicy, flavour-packed beef, soft yet sturdy buns that don’t fall apart, fresh crunchy lettuce, perfectly melted cheese, and sauces that hit all the right notes. Every bite feels like a little firework for your taste buds.
The portions are huge, but the price is surprisingly reasonable. For this quality and size, you’d easily pay double elsewhere. Here, you get a burger that’s both premium and affordable — absolute win.
Yes, there’s a line, but it moves quickly. And honestly, the second you get your burger, you forget you even waited. I told myself I’d eat slowly… but nope, I couldn’t stop. By the time I was halfway through, I was already planning what I’d order next time.
If you’re in Queenstown, skipping Fergburger is basically a crime. My only regret? Not jumping straight back in line for another one right after I finished."

"After ordering, scan the QR code. The website will tell you when your burger is ready. The wait won’t be too long, generally about 15 minutes. It is really nice that you can know when to come back for the food. As a person who likes to eat burgers, I’ve tried the Fergburger with and without double cheese, Ferg deluxe, and little lamby. They were nice and big with crispy bacon, flavorful BBQ sauce, and sweet onions. They were just slightly better than what I had before.
But after I had the “BIG AL” It is a 5 star for sure!
Significantly larger than the other burgers, the double prime beef was juicier, more sauce means more goodness, the egg yolk bursts out as you take the bite, and the beet root finishes it with a sweet touch! It was amazing!
And it is so big that I nearly got a jaw dislocation eating it!"

"The burgers here are absolutely amazing! A very wide choice, perfect sauces, and really generous portions. The buns taste like they’re homemade, and everything feels far from the usual low-quality fast food. You really get great value for money here. The fries were also delicious, and I think they’re homemade too. Highly recommended, definitely a must-try if you’re in Queenstown!"
