Reviews Summary

Potala Tibetan Restaurant is widely praised for its authentic and delicious Tibetan cuisine, particularly its momos and Thukpa. Diners often highlight the warm, family-run atmosphere and the friendly hospitality. While the food is consistently rated high, be prepared for a wait as everything is made fresh to order, which may not suit those in a hurry.

"I had to try the famous Thukpa (as it is similar to food in my country) and decided to enter this restaurant.
The food tastes so good, and the family who owns this restaurant was very friendly and kind. It's sad I had to leave Pokhara so soon, otherwise I would have returned to this restaurant many times!"

"Potala Tibetan Restaurant is an average dining spot. The food overall was mild and lacked distinct flavors. The Shayabhaley was overly oily, which made it quite unappealing. However, the momo stood out and was enjoyable."

"We came here for our first night in Pokhara for some momos and it did not disappoint!! We had the steamed potato cheese momos which were SO good! My husband and son loves the pan friend buffalo momos and I also really liked the veggie pan friend momos. We finished it off with some amazing banana rice pudding! The place is family run by a lovely family of a couple, young daughter and their son who goes to culinary school. We will for sure visit again before leaving."
