What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Taing Yin Thar Restaurant is praised for its authentic Burmese cuisine, representing diverse ethnic groups and a commitment to MSG-free seasoning. Diners appreciate the extensive menu, clean environment, and friendly service. However, some reviews note slow service during peak hours and dishes being potentially very spicy, with one diner experiencing a lack of apology after finding a foreign object in their food.
"We had a great experience here. The restaurant apparently comprised of local cooks from the different regions of Myanmar, managed with hygiene by a head chef. Wait crew are great as always and atmosphere is pleasant. 5 stars."
Victor Po
"Good food, slow service. Also, its noisy, but it is due to the customers, not the staffs. It was quite crowded when i visited, lunch time+weekend, car parking is limited as well. They do have private rooms, and noisy customers should get the room instead. Food are ok for most of the items, can request the staffs to make it really authentic or reduce the kick, since they usually cook when u order. Prices are on the high side though. I'll try again later, on a more relaxed day/hour to see if my experience improve or not."
Theha Khant
"Can enjoy having lots of Myanmar traditional breakfast choices as a buffet every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday with 7000MMK but it costs 8000MMK each person including service charges, actually. I think it is really worth it if you can eat a lot."
