All profits go to local residents in need. Only organic brown henna is used and the cataloge of designs to choose from has been donated by top henna artists from around the world.

Get Henna at the Henna Cafe The Henna Café is a ten min walk from Le Riad Yasmine – rather than get henna in Jemaa el-Fna save it for here. They have a modest rooftop café where you can buy drinks and food whilst waiting for your henna to dry, and all proceeds go back to the local schools. If you’re really organised, they also runs classes like yoga etc.

We wanted to visit Henna Art Cafe but we found this restaurant’s menu to be more interesting so we went here instead. As its name suggests, they offer henna tattoos but we were here strictly for the food. The Henna Cafe isn’t anything to do with the Henna Art Café and is near the Mouassine district in the Northern Medina. On the menu are vegetarian and vegan snacks such as humus, falafel or sandwiches, as well as drinks. As the name suggests, you can also get henna tattoos here.
