"A beautiful place to dine with great food. Each person gets a set three course menu. The beef tajine and the chicken pastilla were outstanding. We got the creme caramel for dessert. This was one of our favorite meals during our entire trip to Morocco.
Note: the place is definitely hard to find and you have to navigate dark alleys! So definitely take a longer route in google maps!"

"The restaurant was very pretty inside, like a mini palace. You can either dine inside or at the roof top with nice views of the Medina. The service and the people were excellent. You get a soup and a wide assortment of salad before the main course. Everything was tasty. I just reduced 1 star for the meat tagine I ordered where I expected the meat to be a little tender instead it was chewy. Maybe it's how it's supposed to be but not my preference."

"We had dinner, didn’t know they had a terrace - were sat on the ground floor.
Terrible food, rather banal.Service was atrocious, had to repeatedly ask for things, they forgot my mint tea despite reminding twice, food took forever to arrive, we decided to skip the fruits course and simply leave, leaving behind half the food we ordered. The sweets came with the first course of soup - see the photo, so strange.
Asked for the bill thrice, only to be told to go and pay at the counter after waiting for ages.
Easily the worst meal and service we had in Fes."

How to Navigate Old Fez, Morocco’s Oldest and Most Complex Imperial City
Travelers looking to sample the flavors of Fez will find many superb restaurants throughout the medina. In the Mellah, the old Jewish quarter, Dar Hatim is a family affair where you can taste the love in chef Karina Bouaa’s home-cooked chicken pastilla and lamb tagine. (If the prospect of navigating some notoriously twisting alleyways on an empty stomach doesn’t sound particularly appealing, her husband Fouad will gladly escort you.) Dar Roumana and Restaurant Ouliya are two other standout options for Moroccan cuisine and warm hospitality.
