Alright, the first thing you need to know about Triskala is that the menu is small (maybe 12 items) and not everything is vegan-friendly. However, the last time I was here with friends they had at least two vegan options on the menu. My friend ordered the falafel and said it was cooked to perfection.

There is so much super fresh vegetable produce around, but vegetarians often get a duff deal in Morocco. The standard vegetarian tajine normally contains potatoes, carrots and tomatoes and little else. At least ask for added tfaya (caramelised onions and raisins) on top.

The decor of the place and the great and refined food make it our favorite place in town. If you’re searching for something that reflects the modern side of the Moroccan cuisine, then Triskala is for you. Even though you’ll not find wine here, it’s definitely worth it.
