What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Diners rave about the incredibly flavorful and fresh vegan dishes, often calling it the best food in Morocco. The exceptional value for money and the warm, personal service from the owner are frequently highlighted as major positives. While the food is consistently praised, some mention that the decor could be updated.
"What a lovely lunch! The man was so calm and quick to make our food and the veggie burgers were delicious. We also got the peach juice and some salad - very tasty! There are so many options on the menu, you could order about forty different types of tagine if you wanted. Thank you so much for a lovely meal :)"

"We went here every day for our stay in Essaouira. The tagines are incredibly tasty and there is such a large selection available, we loved the vegetable lentil tagine and also the chickpea vegetable tagine (see pictures) and we also had a delicious fresh juice of pineapple and orange. Possibly the tastiest food I've had in Morroco, and I can easily see how they have so many awards. The only let down was the decor and dated signs, it could really do with redecorating and maybe a new less scary logo, but the man who worked there was quiet and sweet with a kind smile. I would 100% go back here."

"Highly recommend for their vegan dishes, it’s a small business run by one nice man that packs a punch with the spices and amazing flavours of his dishes. We went back twice knowing we’d be served proper quality dishes. The spring rolls in combination with the tajines take the top spot in our opinion. We wish his business the best of success."

20 Best Restaurants in Essaouira: Amazing Local Spots
So, I have mixed feelings about this vegan restaurant in Essaouira. First of all, my partner’s falafel was not falafel and had this weird mix of potato and lentils inside, not chickpeas. However, my chickpea tajine was lovely.
