The best $3 you can spend in Condesa is Pescadito’s quesotote taco: a corn tortilla filled with an entire chile relleno and fried shrimp. This is a casual, cafeteria-style spot with a tight selection of fried shrimp tacos, fried fish tacos, and plenty of beer. And while the menu is short, the variety of unlimited free toppings you can add to your order is anything but, with multiple salsas, coleslaw, and pickled red onion.

This is another chain around Mexico City, but I do love their location in Condesa second best (my favorite location is in the Centro Historico but only because there’s more space). The regular fish tacos are good, but the marlin and the shrimp (camaron) are seriously why I keep come back. I usually get one marlin taco and one shrimp, but if I’m feeling fancy I’ll order one marlin and one campechano which is a combination of a few pieces of fish and a few pieces of shrimp.

Well, El Pescadito is an oasis away from the heavy beef and pork-centric taco spots in Mexico City. They offer up to 9 different seafood tacos on their menu from smoked tuna to a fried chile relleno taco stuffed with shrimp and cheese but the real star of the show is the fried shrimp. The shrimp are dipped into a semi-liquid batter before dropping into a hot oil right in front of you.

Located across the street from Don Juan is El Pescadito, a taqueria that serves some of the best Baja-style seafood tacos in Mexico City. Not only do they serve delicious fish and shrimp tacos, but theirs are some of the most loaded we’ve had anywhere in Mexico. They put so much fried shrimp and fish on their tacos that you almost need a fork to eat them!

My favorite place for fish tacos in Mexico City is El Pescadito. Garnish your fish, shrimp, tuna, and stuffed chili tacos with purple lettuce, coleslaw, onions, and endless salsas at the salad bar. I’ve worked through the menu and love the classic fish taco, shrimp taco, campechano (mix), and the que-sotote with chili pepper, cheese, and shrimp.

Make the long 1-minute walk across the street from Tacos Don Juan, and cross off two taco shops right away on your foodie tour. El Pescadito is a super-friendly taco shop known for its delicious seafood tacos like fish and shrimp. When we arrived, I quickly browsed the menu (which they kindly offered in English).

This busy but well-organised taqueria chain has some of the finest fish tacos Mexico City has to offer. Fried fish tacos is something that is mostly found on the Pacific Coast of Mexico and California. However, if you are craving one (Melina often is), then this small-chain taqueria could be a nice spot to check out. Much of their seafood and fish is breaded and fried, adding a nice crunch to the taco.

With multiple locations throughout Mexico City, El Pescadito created a reputation for reliable delicious fried seafood. The short menu makes picking easy with an enormous do-it-yourself topping and hot sauce island at the center of the restaurant. Of course, we needed the fish and shrimp tacos.

We didn’t think much of the seafood in Mexico City was all that great quality but this place is different and serves really amazing fish and prawn tacos. They have a salad and sauce bar to add all your toppings. Try the marlin for something a little different.

Take a walk west along with Avenue Álvaro Obregón until you arrive at Parque Espana. This is a beautiful little parkette worth exploring if you’re taking your time along this Taco Tour. Just off the Parque Espana is the famous El Pescadito.

This is one of the best cheap eats in the Condesa, think all things seafood. Come for $2 tacos filled with crispy shrimp, fried fish, and no shortage of beer to pair with it. It’s the spot for a fast eat, but seriously delicious.

El Pescadito is another must for where to eat in Mexico City. The fish tacos here are beyond good. There are a couple locations, I tend to prefer the Condesa ambiance, but all are good.
