Se puede ordenar una clásica sopa de cebolla francesa, que vendrá acompañada de pan de masa madre con perfiles gustativos a humita, un tradicional envuelto cuencano.

Diego Gutiérrez, known for being one of the best chefs in Cuenca, is in charge of the kitchen of Mansión Matilde. He tells us that this space has been divided into four sections: the restaurant; a classic English style tea room where delicious French snacks are offered; a bar where classic cocktails of high quality labels are served; and a treaty room for meetings or corporate forums.

A tea room that transforms into a bar and a high-end restaurant, ideal to end your afternoon and begin the evening. A great place to go after visiting Cuenca’s two cathedrals: the imposing New Cathedral and the lesser-known Old Cathedral. Both are milestones in the history of this historic city and are a starting point to understand Cuenca.

This beautiful restaurant is on the second floor of a restored colonial mansion, Casa del Parque, across from Parque Calderón. The restaurant is divided into several small dining rooms. They serve a high tea, which is a memorable experience, as well as an elegant dinner with an eclectic menu.

Casa del Parque is one of the most incredible places that Cuenca has to offer. On the ground floor of the building there is a wide variety of restaurants and cafeterias and on the second floor there is a very elegant restaurant. It is a luxury restaurant with several rooms such as Turquesa.
