Reviews Summary

Manouche is frequently praised for its delicious food, particularly its French pastries, hearty brunch options, and creative appetizers. Diners often highlight the quality of ingredients and generous portions. However, some reviews mention inconsistent service, with occasional unfriendliness or slowness, and a few have noted issues with food temperature or preparation.

"The very best brunch and lunch place in the region. They offer such big selection of brunch dishes and they serve so fast and work very efficient. I love this place. Haven't had that quality cappuccino for a long time. And the breakfast brioche buns just melt in your mouth, so soft and fresh. And oh my...the pastries and cakes they make....to die for honestly wow, so worth the money.
So overall very very good place, one of my new favourites for sure."

Mari Kukerman

"Not very pleasant experience, I ordered a millefeuille which was terrible, so hard that one couldn't put the fork in it.
While we were having a good cappucino on the sunny terrace I waited around 20 min, hoping that it would melt a bit, but no chance. I went inside with it, showing them that is uneatable and after they first tried to say is fresh, when I invited them to eat it, they dropped it.
What I asked is that the 2 more they were having to be taken from the counter so no one will experience this.
Didn't happen, but they did not charge me for it."

Magda Vlad

"Fried egg was cold and I had to ask for a new one. Bacons were overfried and sausage was not cooked enough. Service was quite slow and unattentive."

The Best Spots For Dessert In Malta

In the central region of Malta, just north of Valletta, is the popular town of St Julians, where you’ll find Manouche Craft Bakery. The food here is nothing short of perfection and for first-class patisserie desserts you certainly won’t be disappointed. The bakery uses nothing but natural products and organic grains, and insists that all ingredients, which change with the season, are ethically purchased.

The Best Restaurants in Sliema

Unlike the Manouche Bakery in Valletta, the one in Sliema is quite small and does not have a real sitting area except for a bench in front of it. And yet, it is a great place to buy a delicious slice of cake or a different sweet treat. I highly recommend getting your cake in a to-go box and eating it at Sliema’s oceanfront promenade or on your hotel balcony.

Best places to eat in Sliema and Saint Julian Malta

The perfect combination of Maltese and French cuisine makes the dishes seamless. I have never eaten a salmon better than the one prepared here (I even want to specify that salmon is smoked and prepared by them). Honestly, it has nothing to do with what I have eaten so far and I have tried it in various ways because it is my favorite fish.
