Reviews Summary

Topspot Food Court is a highly recommended destination for fresh and affordable seafood, praised for its vibrant atmosphere and diverse offerings. While many rave about the quality and value of dishes like grilled prawns and local vegetables, some diners have experienced occasional disappointment with over-fried items or inconsistent preparation.

"This is the reason I love to visit Kuching compared to other state/regions.
The seafoods here are cheaper and nice.
This is my second visit to Kuching and I dine in here twice in 4 days journey. I gonna miss all seafood and midin!

Tips for outsiders, try check out the price of all seafood in every restaurant as everyone offers different price for same item/seafood."

Lee Ying Ying

"Worth to visit as a visitor. Very crowded foodcourt with multiple seafood stalls located at the roof top of UTC building if i'm not mistaken. They missed our orders so few dishes are being cancelled as some ingredients/seafood already sold out and been waited for so long.

There's a satay stall, can order some satay and kuih as appetizer while waiting. Ordered their huge size sugar cane drinks with lychee, quite new to me and taste not bad.

Must order - cereal prawns (a bit different from the cereal prawn that I had but taste not bad, sweet), bbq prawn (looks like pan fried prawns, simple fresh and sweet) and stir fried vegetables (wow~ Sarawak's vegetables really taste so fresh and crunchy!)"

CVC

"Lively food court with many seafood restaurants. Mostly selling the same fare. Food was alright. Enjoyed the midin. The oyster pancake isn’t great, not sure why it’s popular. Pricing was decent at around rm30-60 per person."

Kuching: Sunsets And Orangutans

Top Spot food court seems to be the recommended food experience for tourists in Kuching and I have to say the crab-loving members were in heaven at this slightly odd open-air eatery located on top of a multi-storey car par. The selection is huge and you get to choose your seafood from the tanks lining the walls. When I inquired about the secret behind the tasty food the waiter looked at me like I was from outer space and bluntly uttered “Maggi spice”.

Salted Egg Crab RM48.00 (800g) – Can’t go wrong since they’re still swimming happily in the water tank minutes ago, taste sweet and salty while crab texture is at its finest, best dish to have if you have the leisure time to savor em thoroughly. We saw majority of tables seated ordered this gigantic and quirky looking fried thingy, which is Oyster Omelette in Topspot way. It is interesting aesthetically but nothing wonderful in terms of taste.

The huge, crowed floor was filled with people at plastic tables and chairs, two walls lined with fresh fish stalls; it is a great, reasonably priced place to eat, though noisy and hot.
