We loved sitting in the dimmed lighting, soaking in the chill music and relaxed atmosphere. The friendly staff added to the vibe, making the place feel even more inviting and warm. It’s got that cool, effortless ambience that makes you want to stay a little longer.
While we didn’t get to try their famous cocktails this time, we did enjoy some affordable beers and had a really fun night overall. It’s definitely a spot worth checking out if you're looking for something different in George Town.

Junk Cafe is a remarkably cool and quirky bar/restaurant that’s renowned for its eclectic collection of weird and wonderful antiques and odd decor. We didn’t actually eat much in here, we just shared a bowl of fries (15rm – £2.82) and then Matt got a beer (14rm – £2.63) as we’d already planned to eat at the night markets later on. The food here did look and smell good though and there was a decent offering of burgers, sandwiches and other dishes on the menu and it came very highly recommend to us so I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to you guys too!
