While locals frequent it and praise the noodle dishes, some reviews mention the coffee shop drinks are subpar. The ambiance is described as a traditional, no-frills coffee shop.
"This is a traditional non fancy old coffee shop.
They do have 3 stall that selling classic Penang hawker food there.
Been long time heard about this Chinese style Mee Goreng. It was awesome, slight different with mamak style but it was good , and we do try their Chinese fried rice taste like old time granny style 👍🏻 Recommend for both. However I was disappointed with the coffee shop drink. Too low grade coffee and tea quality and it watery. To avoid disappointed you may order Coke.
How I wish they will improve on the beverage quality."

"The prawn noodle soup was oomph & yummy with the first few slurps but then kinda lost taste & flavour after. The char kway teow is terrible though the aunty selling it is friendly, so I feel bad. The wanton mee had 2 small wantons, scraps of red char siew unlike the usual brown bbq colour of most Malaysian char siew. The noodles were far from soggy, had a nice bite & the black sauce that the noodles bathed in, was flavour packed - had the lardy taste but not over powering. The toilet, unisex is unusual. Pay this place a visit to find out why"
