"Solo Pizza Napulitana is hands down my favorite pizza spot in Kuwait. The dough is light and the perfect thickness, the pizza itself is fresh and packed with flavor. My go to is the ‘Super Mario’, and every time I have it, I’m reminded why I keep coming back. Whether I’m in the mood for a quick bite or craving a really good pizza, Solo never disappoints. "I don’t understand the hype around this place at all. The atmosphere is dark, stuffy, and honestly depressing. The only reason I went in was because of all the great reviews I’ve heard and read, but my experience couldn’t have been further from that.

The pizza was a huge letdown—absolutely no flavor, no taste whatsoever. It was nothing like the authentic Italian pizza I’ve had during my travels in Italy. The owner claims to have studied in Italy and even brought the oven from there, but I couldn’t taste any of that authenticity. I’ve had pizza all over Italy, and this was not even close. The cheese they use in Italy is fresh, while here it just felt generic and bland.

What really bothers me is that the owner has done multiple interviews about how special his place is, but it feels like just a marketing scam. He’s not even the one making the pizzas—he has Asian employees handling that while he’s off doing interviews. If you’re going to claim this level of expertise, you should at least be in the kitchen, working with your hands, and ensuring the quality. It seems like he's more interested in promoting his "achievements" than actually delivering on them.

Overall, I found the whole experience underwhelming, from the food to the depressing atmosphere. It’s definitely not worth the visit, and I won’t be returning."
