"My family and I had dinner here yesterday, 2025 March 18.
It was a spur of the moment thing, we had no reservation but we were accommodated and given a table after a short wait.
I ordered the Japanese dish course A, my wife had the B and my son had the Kobe beef cutlet. The set meal and is worth the price as the quality, presentation and taste were excellent. Also worth noting is the service of the staff; they were very attentive, helpful and friendly.
The place is packed, full of locals and we were the only foreign diners that evening. The restaurant interiors are beautifully made, resembling an old Japanese home.
We were very happy and satisfied with our dinner and hope to return Zakuro in the future."

"I found myself at Zakuro in Ginza a few times now, and every visit feels like pressing pause on the outside world. It’s right in the middle of the city, but the moment you walk in, it’s like everything slows down. The space is calm, the service is so polite and seamless, and there’s this quiet elegance that makes you feel taken care of without being over the top.
I had their set menu, it came with great quality of Kobe beef, a few small seasonal dishes, and noodles at the end. Everything was so well-balanced. The beef was exactly what you’d expect…rich, buttery, and cooked right in front of you. One of those meals where you don’t need to say much because the food kind of speaks for itself.
What I love most is how unpretentious it feels. It’s refined, yes… but in a way that’s very warm and welcoming. No rush, no fuss. Just good food, thoughtful service, and a peaceful atmosphere.
It’s the kind of place I’d go back to when I want to treat myself or slow things down a little. Simple, elegant, and memorable in the best way."

"Accidentally took too much photos playing with different settings on my camera and phone, so I will just put everything here. Sorry for the duplicates. Everything tastes wonderful and it is very filling. The beef sushi is unexpectedly good. The waitress is very friendly. Good dining experience to have in Japan!"
