What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Kaitenzushi Nemuro Hanamaru Ginza is a highly popular conveyor belt sushi spot offering fresh seafood, primarily sourced from Hokkaido. While many praise the quality and affordability, significant wait times are a common experience, with some visitors finding the sushi good but not exceptional for the price and wait. The atmosphere is generally pleasant and family-friendly.
"Be there first thing they open, otherwise you will be in for a queue.
Atmosphere here is wonderful. Reasonably priced for this high quality sushi.
Thaks to wife for this intro."

"We started lining up at 10:45 AM and were able to take the side elevator up to the 10th floor right at 11 AM, putting us at about 10th in line. We were seated shortly after, and the setting and atmosphere was nice and elegant. In terms of the sushi, I thought that it tasted good - but nothing standout. We tried several of the premium pieces including toro, unagi and scallop and were not too impressed, as we feel we have had more fresh sushi even in Vancouver. Luckily, because we did not wait, it was just a slightly overpriced meal - but I would not recommend waiting in line for any more than 15 minutes for this place - much less 3 hours as we hear from some people."

"Extremely Disappointing , A Complete Tourist Trap
This is probably the least fresh sushi I’ve ever had in Japan.
The first time I visited this shopping mall, I noticed a long queue outside this sushi restaurant while I was lining up for the Sendai beef tongue place next door. I was curious about how good it might be, why so many waiting in the queue for it but never got the chance to try because the line was too long.
On my recent trip to Tokyo, I made sure to come here. I took a waiting ticket—there were 76 groups ahead of me, with a 120-minute wait. This was on a Tuesday afternoon around 3:30 pm, not even a public holiday.
After waiting for two hours, I finally got seated. The atmosphere was decent, but the sushi on the conveyor belt looked completely unappealing and far from fresh. I ordered tamago, scampi sushi, and sea bream sushi. The fish tasted like it hadn’t even been thawed properly"
