I didn’t expect to find the best Japanese curry *I’ve* ever had at a tiny 10-seat restaurant tucked away in Osaka, Japan. Oretachino-Curry Ya is small, intimate, and cozy spot visited by locals and tourist. The curry was rich, bold, and deeply flavorful. I ordered the Chicken Cutlet instead of the Pork Cutlet. 🔥🔥🔥 And don’t even get me started on the Japanese ginger ale. I wish I would have broug...

Les prix sont super abordables c’est entre 4,65€ et 8,70€ maximum (menu halal sans topping ofc ) pour un plat très copieux ! Reviews Summary

Curry Yakumido is celebrated for its incredibly flavorful and well-prepared curry, with many diners highlighting the vegan and beef options. The intimate, cozy atmosphere and the exceptional hospitality of the owner, who engages in lively conversation and offers local tips, are frequently praised. While the limited seating is a characteristic of its charm, it can also mean a wait for a table.

"I am writing a late review from my visit in March, but I want to share my experience at this fantastic place I discovered while heading back to where we were staying. It definitely did not disappoint. The owner was a wonderful person; I couldn’t speak any Japanese, but his English was superb. We had a great conversation about Australia, and it made the food taste even better.

He also provided plenty of suggestions for viewing cherry blossoms, including some lesser-known spots where I could avoid large crowds of tourists. I found the curry a bit puzzling, as there wasn’t much meat in it, but I believe that’s how it’s meant to be. I have no complaints on my end—the owner has truly mastered the dish. The flavors warmed me up on a chilly winter day.

I’m not sure if you remember my visit, but thank you for everything you do!"

"Curry Yakumido has such a comfortable vibe. The owner was very welcoming and personable. My husband and I got the beef and chicken curry combo and it was so incredible as our first Japanese curry. After a long day of walking and both having headaches, this was the perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal and good conversation."

Amanda Surman

"This is a small intimate place to have a great curry meal, an even better drink (there are excellent whisky's and other drinks available) but the best part is it's owner, his wit, wisdom and humor! Thanks for a wonderful evening, Zak!"

The restaurant was tiny, with seating for maybe 6 people or so. Don’t misunderstand though, I’m not complaining. In many of the tastiest meals we had in Japan came from the smallest restaurants.
