What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Vegan Cafe Ramuna is celebrated for its exceptionally delicious and thoughtfully prepared vegan cuisine, with many hailing it as the best food in Japan. The owner's dedication and the cozy, cat-themed atmosphere create a unique and heartwarming dining experience. While the food is consistently praised, patrons should be prepared for potential wait times due to the owner managing the entire operation solo. It's also important to note that the cafe operates on a cash-only basis.
"Amazing food that was well worth the wait. We ordered dan dan noodles, burger plate, bento set and buddha bowl. Especially dan dan noodles and burger plate. Flavourful and nutritious. Great combination of ingredients with different texture and well balanced. So glad to find this!"

"This café is run by just one lady so please be patient & respectful.
All of the meals are made to order so everything is fresh & delicious but may take a little longer. My burger plate was amazing, I ate it so quickly because I was enjoying it that much. I loved the variety of items on the plate, about 11 different things!
My partner had the other plate with the rice & nugget box (soy pieces, I think).
From what I can remember, I think this café is cash only."

"Delicious vegan food near Nara park. We went there for lunch and there was one lady preparing and serving the food, so there was quite a bit of wait. The food is worth the wait though - everything we tried was delicious especially the ramen and the buddha bowl. Also, this place is cash only. Highly recommend."
