What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Ramen Hiiragi is highly praised for its innovative tomato ramen, with many calling it one of the best they've ever tasted. The gyoza and other ramen varieties also receive high marks. While the ordering system is efficient, some reviewers noted a lack of Korean language support on the ticket machine. Expect queues, especially during peak hours, but most agree the wait is well worth it.
"Wow - so happy we ate here. The tomato ramen is delicious and contrary to what one may presume, it was quite refreshing and light. It wasn’t heavy at all. The inclusion of vegetables was appreciated and I am glad I ordered bean sprouts as an extra. The egg was cooked perfectly so I recommend that as well. The pork belly is fairly thin so don’t expect thick pieces. The eggplants are good but I personally wouldn’t do the extra option.
Kiosk for ordering and there is minimal service interaction. This place is good for solo eaters because of the bar setup.
We arrived at ~11:30 on a Monday and there was no wait. A line started forming after we began eating, probably because of the lunch crowd."

"Tomato Ramen was the best! Must add extra eggplant. Amazing taste. Definitely one of my best ones in Nagasaki.
Gave 4 stars because they didn't support Korean language on the kiosk. Sacho=san, Kangokugo menu please!"
Patrick Lee
"Had to wait about 15-20 minutes, but it was Saturday night. Well worth the wait. Gyozas are small but super tasty and you get 8 in a portion. The dandan ramen was absolutely fantastic. Not too spicy, just perfect. One of the best. The tomato and aubergine (eggplant) ramen is also a must try.
Ordering is by ticket machine as you go in. There's an English version of the menu, so ordering couldn't be easier.
Highly recommended."
