"We were drawn into this place based on the reviews on TripAdvisor. When we walked in, we were greeted by the owner who showed us to our seats. The place is super tiny so do not recommend coming in a big group and for sure recommend making a booking as it only sits about 14 people at a time. We ordered two pizzas which took about an hour to come out. The pizzas were delicious. The dough was super fluffy and chewy and they were freshly made and pulled out of the woodfired oven. Overall this restaurant is inviting and cozy albeit with a hefty pricetag compared to the other Italian restaurants in the city and a long wait for the food. Our bill at the end was just under 6600 yen for two pizzas and two non alcoholic drinks which covered the service charge."

"Pizza Verde is a MUST visit in Matsumoto. The wood-fired pizza is without a doubt some of the best I've ever had. The crust is perfectly thin, soft, and fluffy, the toppings all fresh and flavorful.
We reserved a table in advance for my partner's birthday, and they went absolutely above and beyond to help us celebrate. They played the birthday song, gifted us a delicious dessert, and helped us light the candles we brought with us. They truly made my partner's birthday extremely special and we are so so grateful!"
