"I hesitated to write this review because frankly, I was not sure that I could serve the experience justice. My partner and I ordered the sirloin steak set and Kobe beef set to share, 120g each. There was more than enough food for us when combined with the appetizers and dessert. We were taken care of by Chef Kawai, who handled the cooking directly in front of us. He carefully explained the ingredients throughout the course and provided us with suggestions on how to best taste the meat. He suggested wasabi and salt with the sirloin steak which paired perfectly together as the wasabi cut through the fattiness of the meat. The Kobe beef was delicious with just a little salt and almost melted in the mouth. It was so juicy and flavourful, definitely the most delicious meat I have ever tasted. The grilled vegetables were also delicious, and my partner who usually dislikes mushrooms actually enjoyed the shiitake served. The flounder served during the appetizer was also superb with the reduction sauce. While I have never spent so much on a meal for two, I truly do think it was fully worth it as not only was the food delicious, the experience was also amazing. Thanks again to Chef Kawai, as he truly did make the experience that much more memorable!!"

We went for the a5 beef and it lived up to all of our lofty expectations. The pumpkin soup they gave us was such a pleasant surprise and was the highlight of the meal after the beef. We enjoyed our personal chef and the grilled garlic chips were a nice addition. The salad and vegetables were also very good."
