What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Ajiraku Yumeri is praised for its exceptionally fresh seafood, sourced directly from Noto, and its authentic izakaya atmosphere. Diners frequently commend the polite and friendly staff, as well as the delicious, carefully prepared dishes. However, some visitors have noted issues with value for certain side dishes and experienced being turned away despite the restaurant appearing empty, suggesting that reservations are indeed crucial.
"A popular izakaya near Kanazawa Station. I think it's kind of them to inform U when U make a reservation that they mainly sell seafood from the Noto Peninsula, and that the earthquake may affect their procurement. I don't know how much the earthquake affected the restaurant, but I was satisfied with all the dishes. Kanburi has the most refined fat I've ever eaten, and goes well with salt and sudachi. Filefish sashimi mixed with liver is a special dish that lets U fully enjoy the rich flavor of liver. The sweetness of the dried salt-grilled seaweed is irresistible. Salt-grilled pork from the Noto Peninsula is made by grilling and cutting into plump chunks, and the cooking process is exciting. Reservations are required when visiting!"

"⭐ 5 stars for hospitality – They kindly provided me with a seat even though I went without a reservation.
I had the sashimi special with sake from the Kawaaki region, along with a side dish of ginkgo nuts.
However, the ginkgo side dish seemed overpriced at 900 yen, especially compared to other places where I’ve had it. It was also not fried very well, which surprised me."
