What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Tenmonkan Mujaki is celebrated for its original Shirokuma shaved ice, featuring unique flavor consistency and generous fruit toppings. Diners also appreciate the nostalgic ambiance and the blend of Japanese and Western menu items. However, some reviews mention inconsistencies in customer service and sticky tables, detracting slightly from the overall experience.
"The originate store of ShiroKuma shaving-ice-cream in convenient stores. The milky shaved ice is perfectly sweet. The matcha and sweet bean paste is also very good and well balanced. I recommend baby size for each person and share them among your group if you want to taste different flavors."

"Great service here, although the place looks a little run down. It must be because it's very popular! They have two floors and there's an elevator that can be used.
The 'bear' ice slush is refreshing, and I hear it's very popular during the summer. However, although they have many choices, the depth of flavor difference between each shaved ice variation may be indistinguishable except the for different toppings.
Quite affordable too. Good place to take kids."

"It's got that family restaurant look and vibe, ala doutor, or seizeria, or komeda coffee. I went alone, and got the baby size chocolate, which was still way too much for one person, though I saw many people eating the regular on their own so maybe I'm wrong. Great flavor honestly, and sweet throughout, which feels uncommon for kaki gori / bing su / shaved ice. Still kind of carnival food though haha."
