"We recently had a 5 course dinner menu at Libero restaurant which was delicious! The restaurant has a cosy feel to it. We have been travelling around Japan for two weeks and it was one of our favourite meals. The food was amazing, and the chef and waitress were so attentive and friendly. They used a translator phone to describe all of the courses to us in English which was so helpful. If you are looking for a fine dining experience in Hiroshima then visit Libero. Amazing food, wine and atmosphere. We hope to come back!"

"I was craving something other than Japanese food at this point on my holiday and my goodness this hit the spot. A simple set menu with 2 appetisers, a choice of 3 pastas, and 3 main courses accompanied by some of the best homemade sour dough bread I've ever had. Simply cooked but delicious, beautifully presented food was a joy to eat. There is an English menu and the very lovely couple who run it communicate very effectively via some English and Google translate. Highly recommended if like me you fancy a change."

"We stumbled on this small cozy Italian restaurant while searching for a place to grab a quick bite. It was a little pricey, but we saw the good reviews and decided to give it a try.
The food was fantastic. We tried one of the available course meals and were blown away by the taste. It was by far one of the best meals we’ve had in a while.
Not only the was the food amazing, but the service is great. This is definitely a great date place. We mentioned that we just got married and they decorated the dessert with a message for us.
If you’re in Hiroshima come and try it. You will not be disappointed."

Eating in Hiroshima: Top Ten Citywide Culinary Choices
Having lived in Italy for a semester, I’ve tasted many a mind-blowing pizza, and thus my standards are a bit heightened and hard to meet in Japan. When trying to determine if an Italian restaurant or pizzeria that is worth my time and money, I tend to look for a few key signs, such as Italian-speaking staff or signs indicating the authenticity of their products. The pizzeria “polipo” is located in Hakushima, and dishes up real Neapolitan pizze (the plural form of “pizza” in Italian), with a “Vera Pizza” sign on the front to indicate approval by the Association of Real Neapolitan Pizza.
