"We came across this restaurant on our visit to Hida Furukawa. Set in a typical Japanese style dining area with shoes off on the Tatami mats. We hit the jackpot. The food was outstanding, the presentation on the plate was of the highest order and so eye appealing the food exceeded all expectations. The service too was exceptionally quick with the usual Japanese politeness. This is a must visit restaurant whenever you visit this most picturesque town in the Gifu Prefecture. Five Stars all round."
