I went near the end of the day so there wasn't the lunchtime crowd. There was open seating at the windows to get a view of some of the activity outside without the sulfur smell.
Food was great. Hopefully I get the 7 extra years from eating the black egg 🥚"

"Did not intend to have lunch here today but due to time factor, decided to have it here. The curry pork katsu was really nice. The Japanese curry was intense and flavourful and not too spicy. It also had lots of minced meat. The pork cutlet was tender and tasty especially with the curry.
Curry udon was also very good. Service counter lady was helpful when we requested for the curry to be separated for the udon."

"Curry with a view. I lined up for this thinking it was a special curry only in Owakudani. However, when I ate it I realized it was just normal curry. It’s curry that you can eat on the volcano but it’s not anymore special than that. If I knew it was just normal curry I wouldn’t have eaten here but the curry was good and the view was nice. Just a marketing tactic for tourists."
